把窗子擦干净[1]

一对年轻夫妇搬家，迁入了新居民区。翌日清晨，两人在吃早餐时，妻子注意到邻居晒在外面的衣服。“那些衣服洗得不太干净，”她说。“她不知道该怎么把衣服洗干净。也许她需要更好的洗衣皂。”她丈夫看了看，什么也没有说。每次邻居家主妇晒衣服，她都会做出同样的评论。一个月以后，她突然注意到邻居家主妇晒的衣服变得非常干净。她十分吃惊，于是对丈夫说：“她终于学会了用正确的方法洗衣服。不知道是谁教她的？”他丈夫回答说，“我今天早上起了个早，把我们家的窗子擦得干干净净。”生活也是这样。我们对于他人的判断是否正确，常常依赖于我们通过怎样的眼睛看人。
Window Cleaned
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside."That laundry is not very clean", she said."She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."Her husband looked on, but remained silent.Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:"Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this?"The husband said, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."And so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.
