This page collects, in one place, information on radio or other broadcasts in Mandarin, Cantonese, and other Chinese languages. The emphasis is on broadcasts that are globally available, either via shortwave radio, cable, or in recorded form over the Internet.

Shortwave Radio Broadcast Information

• The Voice of Free China (Taiwan) broadcasts on 5950 KHz in North America at the following times:
  • 8:00 - 9:00 pm Pacific Standard Time: Mandarin
  • 9:00 - 10:00 pm Pacific Standard Time: Cantonese
  • 11:00 - 12:00 pm Pacific Standard Time: English (includes "let's learn Chinese" program)
• The Voice of America (VOA) broadcasts in Mandarin on 9585 KHz from 7:00 am to 9:00 am Pacific Standard Time

• The Voice of America has a Chinese News page with links to Mandarin and Cantonese broadcasts.
• The BBC has links to Mandarin radio broadcast streams on its Chinese News page.
