LOOK4U, The Global Chinese People Finder A directory service created with Chinese in mind. Lets you locate your friends on the net by searching for their Chinese names (in Big5, GB, or English characters). You can also add your own name and e-mail address to its global database.

Chinese Character Pronunciations page, a JavaScript application by Ochlocrat, lets you submit some Chinese and get back pinyin.
